Cautions: Herbal treatment is ineffective for malignant hypertension and certain cases of secondary hypertension, such as renal stenosis or pheochromocytoma. Patients should see a medical doctor as surgical intervention may be necessary.
If untreated, hypertension can lead to various complications such as myocardial infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, renal failure, and premature death from these and other developments. Effective treatment must include both lifestyle changes and herbal therapy.
