Ingredients

  • Lu Dou (Semen Phaseoli Radiati)
  • Dan Shen (Rx/Rz Salviae Miltiorrhizae)
  • Lian Qiao (Fructus Forsythiae)
  • Bai Mao Gen (Rhizoma Imperatae)
  • Gan Cao (Rx/Rz Glycyrrhizae)
  • Da Huang (Rx/Rz Rhei)
  • Fang Feng (Radix Saposhnikoviae)
  • Gou Qi Zi (Fructus Lycii)

Dosage: Take 3 to 4 capsules three times daily.

Cautions: Patients with a sensitive stomach should take this formula with food. If stomach upset still occurs, reduce the dosage and increase the frequency.

This herbal formula contains herbs that invigorate blood circulation. Therefore, patients who are on anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapies, such as Coumadin (warfarin), should use this formula with caution, or not at all, as there may be a higher risk of bleeding and bruising.

This product contains Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei). Read and follow the directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain because Da Huang may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
